Greater Malang’s Largest Hajj & Umrah Expo 2026 Officially Closes with Historic IDR 32.2 Billion in Transactions
MALANG, Indonesia — The Hajj & Umrah Expo 2026 officially concluded on Sunday night (May 24) at the Atrium of Mall Olympic Garden (MOG) Malang, marking a historic milestone by recording a staggering IDR 32.2 billion in total transactions.
Jointly organized by Kusuma Enterprise (under Laba-laba Enterprise) and Fabday, the six-day multi-industry event drew over 100,000 visitors since its opening on May 19. The immense public turnout reflects the deep longing of the Greater Malang community to return to the Holy Land for worship.
Unlike conventional religious travel fairs, this exhibition stood out by integrating the sharia, property, and automotive sectors under one roof, creating a unique shopping and investment experience.
Building Trust Through Interactive Talk Shows
The massive financial turnout was largely driven by a series of highly interactive and educational programs. Most notably, the main stage hosted exclusive talk show sessions featuring 16 trusted and official Hajj and Umrah travel bureaus.
Participating agencies included prominent names such as Mahyaa Tour & Travel, Saudaraku Umrah & Haji, Ar-Raihan Travelindo, An Namiroh Travelindo, Nurul Iman Tour & Travel, Abid Islamic Tour, Taqwatrip, Allia Tour, Alia Uzma Shawqi, Zatabbaru Umroh & Haji, Sahabat ZamZam Indonesia, Tiga Cahaya Utama, PT Rayyan Ajyad Indonesia, An-Nahl Umroh & Haji, and Mozaik Tour & Travel.
During these sessions, prospective pilgrims were encouraged to look beyond standard brochures. Visitors gained direct insights into legalities, hotel accommodations, flight routes, and exclusive promotional deals. This transparent and educational approach successfully built consumer trust, resulting in 627 on-the-spot bookings and securing a database of 6,199 hot prospect leads.

A Grand Finale: Awards and Celebrations
The excitement reached its peak on the final night with an energetic awarding ceremony and a massive doorprize giveaway for both visitors and exhibitors. The organizers presented awards across several categories to recognize the exceptional participation of the travel bureaus, including:
- Top Closing Performance during the expo
- Highest Database Acquisition
- Most Active Social Media Content Creator
- First On-The-Spot Booking (awarded to the first pilgrim)

"We wanted to provide a holistic exhibition experience where visitors gained absolute clarity," stated a representative from the Project Management team of Kusuma Enterprise. "Tonight's awarding session is a celebration of the hard work put in by our travel bureau partners. This IDR 32.2 billion figure is a collective victory for the people of Greater Malang."
