Kusuma Enterprise Successfully Supports the National Working Conference & Gastroenterology National Symposium 2025 in Malang.
Malang, July 19, 2025 – The city of Malang proudly hosted the prestigious National Working Conference (Konkernas) and National Symposium of three leading medical professional organizations: the Indonesian Association for the Study of the Liver (PPHI), the Indonesian Gastroenterology Association (PGI), and the Indonesian Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Association (PEGI).
Held from July 16–19, 2025 at the Harris Hotel & Convention Malang, the event attracted more than 300 participants from across Indonesia. To ensure smooth and professional execution, the organizing committee appointed Kusuma Enterprise as the Official Event Organizer (EO) Partner.
Event Highlights
The event was chaired by Dr. dr. Bogi Pratomo Wibowo, SpPD, K-GEH, and featured a series of key sessions:
July 16, 2025 – The first day was dedicated to internal meetings, including the Board of Expertise (DPK) and the Forum of Professors (FGB), with representatives from BPJS Kesehatan and the Indonesian College of Internal Medicine in attendance.
July 17, 2025 – The second day showcased scientific workshops, covering basic and advanced endoscopy, ultrasonography, and microwave ablation, alongside oral free paper presentations.
July 18, 2025 – Marked the peak of the event with the official opening of the National Symposium by the Mayor of Malang, Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, M.M. In his remarks, he emphasized how this scientific forum aligns with Malang City’s health initiative, “Ngalam Tahes.” The day also featured 64 poster presentations and the MGU Awards Gala Dinner, where distinguished honors were presented: the Daldiyono Award (gastroenterology), the Simadibrata Award (endoscopy), and the Sjaifoellah Noer Award (hepatology).
July 19, 2025 – The event concluded with reflections on four days of discussions, highlighting organizational governance, education, research, and the urgency of population-based studies in Indonesia.
