The second day of the MegSos Bimtek ASN program took place at Tychi Hotel, Malang, beginning with the participants’ departure from Lamongan to the bootcamp venue. Upon arrival, the program was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya, Dr. Ahmad Imron Rozuli, S.E., M.Si., who emphasized the importance of integrating technology, public communication, and data to strengthen modern governance. His remarks served as a strong academic foundation for the participants’ learning journey.

The first bootcamp session featured the topic “Storytelling Strategy and Narrative Development for Social Media” delivered by Wifka Rahma, S.I.Kom., M.Si., a digital marketing practitioner. Participants explored narrative structure, message development techniques, and practical methods for creating human-centered storytelling tailored to public service communication. With Kusuma Academy’s hands-on learning approach, participants were able to immediately apply narrative concepts to their respective work contexts.

The next session focused on content editing using CapCut, facilitated by Endrita Agung, Digital Strategy Consultant. Participants learned not only the technical aspects of editing but also the principles of visual rhythm, creative direction, and content format standards suitable for government communication. This session became one of the most interactive segments as participants were encouraged to independently produce simple content for real-time review.

In the evening, participants attended an Inspiration Session with the Regent of Lamongan, Dr. H. Yuhronur Efendi, M.B.A., M.Ek. In his address, the Regent encouraged ASN to adapt to digital technology advancements and to utilize social media as a tool to enhance transparency and the quality of public information. His presence offered motivation and moral support for all participants.
The bootcamp continued with the session “Optimizing Social Media for Government Using Canva” presented by Yoga Abi Zakaria, COO of Kusuma Academy. This session introduced participants to institutional publication design, informative public service posters, and consistent visual standards to support institutional credibility. The material was designed to meet the practical needs of government agencies in improving the quality of their digital publications.

Day Two concluded with the session “Creating Tourism-Based Business Branding” by Dedy Marquis, which offered insights on how regional branding can be translated into creative and sustainable communication strategies. The session broadened participants’ perspectives on leveraging local narratives as part of a wider public communication approach.
Overall, the second day of the program was intensive, highly practical, and provided a comprehensive experience in preparing participants for evaluation and implementation on the final day.
